Impeachment is the NEW WORD OF THE MOMENT and SHIRANI BANDARANAYAKE the person in the spotlight. PRADEEP KARIYAWASAM is the fall guy of the Govt.

So what happens now? Pradeep Kariyawasam should expose the names of those who used him as the fall guy for their personal ends, and made money out of the NSB deal to purchase TFC shares.

Then Shirani Bandaranayake, the Chief Justice of Sri Lanka, whose term could theoretically go on for 12 more years, and end up as the longest serving Chief Justice in Sri Lanka in history should stand her ground.

This exercise as a result of her going against the Government on the Divi Neguma Bill, and whose judgment has been handed over to the Speaker yesterday, has yet to be made public, but does not sound good for the Govt.

The UNHRC allegations are now in Geneva, and what better way to get that off the front pages than the IMPEACHMENT OF THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF SRI LANKA

The Next step will be the international community pontificating on the Independence of the Judiciary, a sure way for the MR govt. to blame the foreigners for all the ills of Sri Lanka and gain maximum political mileage.
