“IMPEACHMENT” – unprecedented attack on the Judiciary!!

It was just reported that the impeachment motion against the CJ has been handed to the speaker, by the parliamentarians whose signatures are attached. I honestly never thought it would come to this. Why would a Government in the throes of a UNHRC review today, trying to explain its behavior, want an impeachment motion on flimsy grounds against the CJ?

The mind boggles at the total disregard of the fall-out in the international community for such an act, as it is clearly seen to be political and NOT based on any wrongdoing on her part. Perhaps second guessing it is precisely what the Government wants to hide their incompetence at managing the economy by doing this, get the wrath of the international community, and then show the people that they are fighting a war against the world, and asking the people who are suffering from a long list of woes to set them aside in the patriotic war against interference by foreigners in our local affairs. This is an easy motive to turn public opinion.

I hope that the people are wise to this fact. It is simply using the media, and the expected displeasure caused directly by this act to galvanize a jingoistic response, and save the MR government’s bacon eventually culminating in electoral victories due the easily manipulated electorate.

This is therefore a reasonable appeal to the General Public who were kept in the dark as to the real facts behind the motive, to justify their actions. The Govt. will stoop to any lengths to achieve their ends. People MUST know.

It is incumbent upon the opposition to point this out to the people. Few people can really understand the intricacies of the political and judicial gamesmanship at play and are open to manipulation. The opposition must explain this strategy of the Government as a tactic to gain popularity, by personally attacking the CJ for being the spouse of a man who has already been manipulated by the Government to be a fall guy.

It is a lesson to all, even the Judiciary, that this Government only wants yes men. Anyone who disagrees with the government, even the CJ will be hauled through the coals, and her personal life attacked and besmirched until they crumble under the weight of stress, or prodding by a merciless administration, bent on continuing policies with no review by independent checks and balances to control this bulldozing of Acts against any sense of justice and democratic principles, let alone issues of Governance.

THE NEED FOR A SIMPLE EXPLANATION OF THE FACTS AND ACTS OF THE GOVERNMENT IS SORELY NEEDED TO MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE OF THE REAL STATE OF THE STATE
