The joke that is Wijedasa and the joker that is Wijedasa

Quite apart from his faux pas (I don’t believe it), or deliberate challenge (I believe it) to the authority of the President to denounce in public his threat to take back Hambantota Port if ever he was in charge,  (as if it ever left Sri Lankan sovereignty) for the people of Sri Lanka, putting collective Cabinet Responsibility into the trash heap, I believe he has been a double agent right through his term in office, and for that sin alone he should be guillotined.

Simply put he is a traitor to his Government and has been so since its inauguration and the fact that both the President and the Prime Minister tolerated his prevarication and procrastination for so long is simply astounding, as he has NOT achieved anything in his tenure.

His endearing engagement with the President, evidenced by to bringing his son into the Ministry of Defence as a Media Secretary was part of this game to report back, all manner of corruption taking place, inform his masters like Gota of any shenanigan that can be used in the future against the very same donkeys in the Yahapalana Government, shows that his paws have reached all corners. Giving him the Buddhasasana Ministry also was a calculated gamble that spectacularly failed.

Is it due to his knowledge of many secrets usually jealously guarded by lawyers with more merit who treasure the Attorney Client Privilege, and which those very same clients now realize his blatent disregard of,  to project his personage, that he has not already been sacked?

The Government (the President and PM) is placing too much weight on his influence on imbecilic leaders of the Clergy who shout loudest and the Media print this shout, but who have NO weight in reality with the Clergy who matter most. He is all loud, like a Goose once it is chased for dear life, but which no one in the end will care about, once snuffed out.

The INDECISION of the PM and the President is PAINFUL to the public to watch, when this man is running rings round the Government and even the UNP MP’s who have been screaming for blood don’t seem to be able to have the power to effect this change and move on.

In the interests of Good Governance and to show the people, the ability of this administration to Govern effectively, this is simply an appeal to the President to fire this man without having to give any reason, and NOT worry about the beans he has threatened to spill, as his ouster is more important than any harm his UNTRUSTWORTHY mouth can spew. It will only be with a vengeance and blood lust and so will be without merit. (no pun intended in the Buddhist context)

What is important is that the people of this Country are governed by people who have the Public's best interests at heart, and if that is the ultimate criteria, Mr President you can do it without being concerned about the WHAT Ifs!    

Another case of a US Navy SHIP MISHAP! Don’t play the bogus games again

As if the diabolical accident itself was bad enough, where 10 sailors are reported to be missing, despite dawn helicopters searching in vain, why keep the same lie I reported on when the Fitzgerald accident occurred a few months ago.

It is sad that this ship is named after Cancer striken Senator John McCain’s father and grandfather, both Admirals in the US Navy, and having to keep all the relatives in suspense is even worse. I gather ship has docked in Singapore and common sense would dictate that, immediately the automatic doors that shut be checked for the dead sailors. I said last time that the sailors had NOT falled overboard and they were inside the ship when they were sacrificed for the safety of the ship, from being sunk along with the others.

Why cant we call a spade a spade and say the Navy had to sacrifice 10 lives of those possibly in the compartments next to the accident that had to be closed off and sealed to prevent the ship going down. So effectively they were drowned by the Navy and not by the accident itself, in order to save the ship and possibly the other 300+ hands on board.

It is this sort of misinformation that again calls into question the PR of the US Govt in not wanting to be truthful and allow the information ONLY to gradually seep out. Just think about it the families on Shore are being informed as we speek of the tragedy and who is missing. I hope so at least. Those missing are of course presumed dead and this must be said now rather than bull shitting on hope that they may be found alive.

This ship was of the Pacific Fleet based in Yokohama and the ship was on its way to Singapore when the accident happened. It is simply unacceptable that a sophisticated warship of this caliber can be so easily caught in an accident, due to the various measures taken in peacetime to prevent just these sorts of accidents from happening.

Heads will roll in time once the investigations are made and the reports given to the top brass of culpability. It is however simply wrong to treat the sailors who died as fodder but as heroes who gave their lives so that others may live and be honored so. No one will want to join the US Navy if they cant be trusted to do the basic human thing on behalf of this unfortunate sailors, and keeping everyone in suspense hoping they will turn up is the wrong strategy to publicize.

Lets hope that if they did not learn from the Fitzgerald they will learn from the John S McCain that lives matter no matter what rank one is in.

Ravi Karunanayake – How many lives do you think you have?

We all know that finally the “Chickens will come home to roost” and now they have caught up on a lifetime of fraud beginning with how you snatched Roton Vander from the unsuspecting owner right from under his feet! I knew Shelton and how he suffered as a result!

Fast forward 25 years and now you are doing the same thing to the PM, using your knowledge to spill the beans, and taint his Mr Clean image to the chagrin of his millions of followers! Why?

Why did you go and meet Mahinda Rajapaksa, and offer to come over to his side, and use all your inside information to betray Ranil Wickremasinghe, as a sure way to get him sacked as the PM? Ironically MR had more sense of gratitude than you, as he had saved RW’s skin allowing him to remain as the Leader of the Opposition when the whole Maharajah Organization was shitting on him to go, and with that sense of gratitude, did not wish to entertain a TURNCOAT like you, who was clearly a “KUNU GODA” that even he would not touch even if he was paid to do so. He considers you such a liability in his camp, that you are now left to the VULTURES to eat you alive.

So what do you do, go back to the UNP and tell Kabir you will spill the beans if you are cast out of the fold! Kabir who does not have a backbone, is not strong enough to call your bluff, and instead is trying to buy time by defending you at the MOMENT, hoping something or someone will soon find a way out of this predicament on what to do to you.

Have you realized what a liability you have become to the Human Race, when you suddenly find yourself devoid of friends, and the only temporary ones are those you can buy, because they need the money and you know it?

Don’t put this UNF govt. through this impeachment saga, please! You know you cannot win as most of the MPs in Govt. have had it, as you are seen as the devil’s advocate, and their futures have been affected due to your unabashed greed, that extends to your colleagues you are about to OUT too, as part of your avowed intention to take the baby with the bath water.

The safest course of action for the long term, for the stability not just of the Govt. but the whole Country and its need to develop, is for you to gracefully offer your resignation to the President, and as a face saving gesture to the few believers you have left, say that you do so until your name is completely cleared of any wrongdoing. How easy is that? You know you cannot work anymore in any capacity anywhere, but you have enough for a few generations, so it is OK!

Prime Minister, please listen to your only option of survival !

PRIDE ARROGANCE AND LUST FOR POWER - PUT IT ASIDE FOR NOW

You did not listen to me then, when in this blog on January 12^th 2015 I told you not to appoint Mahendran in any financial position due to the son in law being the largest Bond Trader, and see what happened to you! You lost the majority you would have had to govern on your own, without having to bring in the rogues to join you.

Now your rogues who you have so vociferously protected, who have threatened to spill the dirt on you personally, don’t care about loyalty while you defended them, so it is better to save your soul and the ignominy of being outed finally as a complete fool and conniver with the rogues to rob the Country.

Ravi is indefensible, and everyone wants him out of ANY POWER, and now that Mahinda will NOT accept him into their fold as he is actually considered a political liability in their bid to regain power, it is best for you to take a bold decision completely snookering the players who are out to destroy you.

So what do you do? You simply make a statement in a Press Conference, that you have been let down, and your trust in people has been shaken, and you take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for the actions of your henchmen and so you resign as the PM forthwith, temporarily handing the helm of Govt. to Mangala, who is both acceptable to UNP, MS and CBK and a sworn enemy of  the MR lot.

It is the STATESMEN LIKE thing to do, as people will appreciate your humility, (for once you have to put aside your arrogance and lust for power aside and play the wounded leader, where the soldiers have betrayed their trust.)

You do not have to blame Ravi at all, but the upshot of this is that there will be a Public outcry to have Ravi Lynched, and so he will have NO OPTION BUT TO RESIGN and you will not have to face the ignominy of sacking him and he taking you down with him, and ditto with Arjun Aloysius who is using his trump card of the dirt on you to hold on to his position!

In this way, you will bow out gracefully, and will have a chance at the Presidency in 2020, whereas if you hang on, your scalp will be on MS table before long as everyone would betray you to save their skin, making you the scapegoat.

Please take my advice for once if you value your independence and sanity.
